A member asked:

What happens if potassium suddenly went away, what would happen to the earth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Potassium loss: I do not think that the earth would be potassium (K) deficient any time soon. In the extremely unlikely event that it did, being alive would be very difficult for humans as the body needs potassium for many vital functions. However, I do not think that you need to waste your time thinking about a world without K.
