A member asked:

I wanted to know is chemotherapy different for each cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: There are a great number of chemotherapies available that can be used in different doses and in different combinations. There are also other agents such as targeted therapies and immunotherapy drugs. Studies have shown that different cancers can respond differently to different drugs (although there is overlap in similar cancers). The medical oncologist will discuss available options.
