Wide resection: Primary angiosarcomas of the breast are very rare. They also behave as sarcomas do without spread to axilla as the ductal lesions are seen to do. Most have initiated as a result of radiation therapy to the breast region with the effect of the RT inducing the sarcoma. Distant mets to lung and bone have been reported suggesting that the primary must be removed completely.
