A member asked:

I was wondering is a white blood count of 29.8 serious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

We don't Rx numbers: This is concerning. If it's a stable chronic lymphocytic leukemia, life expectancy's probably not affected. If it's a person who seems acutely ill with 'just the flu', it's a sign something's probably going on worse than 'just the 'flu'.
