Jaw popping: jaw popping usually means that the cartilage in the jaw joint is not travelling at the same rate as the jaw opening. the cartilage gets stuck either behind or ahead of the lower jaw. since your teeth determine the relationship between the upper and lower jaws, you should check with a dentist who studies "occlusion", or the way that the teeth work together.
