Vision deterioration: Excessive near work (ie iphone, ipad, video games, tv) can cause eye to grow even in young adults & increase prescription for myopia. If hyperopia (far-sightedness) is increasing, see eyeMD to discuss. EyeMDs recommend taking breaks, looking outside & avoid excessive near work if possible to prevent increasing myopia and its risks.
