What do you suggest if my doctor suspects parkinson's and wants me to take carbidopa levadopa to make final determination:?

Confirmation?: At one time confirmation of Parkinson's in somewhat equivocal cases used L-DOPA therapy to prove diagnosis. This is NOT used commonly, and now we have PET scanning if we need to sort out Parkinsonian complexes of a variable nature. Sounds like enough uncertainty to warrant a second opinion.
