SNAPPING HIP SYNDROM: Why would you like to run when you have this condition, which is usually self limiting with rest and avoiding the activeties which caused it in first place. If you run the symptoms will get worse, so i will advice against it untill it has healed and there is no snapping.

May have pain: Snapping hip can be of internal or external variety. Different structures are snapping in the two forms. It is not always painful, however if running increases the frequency of snapping in theory the snapping tendon could become more inflammed and painful over time. The initial treatment is usually therapy sometimes coupled with injections.
