It depends: If it is for strabismus than u need to talk to ur doctor. Sometimes they can do drops instead. If it is for nearsightedness, it might be that they really don't need it to see. If it is 20/50 or less I probably wouldn't fight over it unless they can't see the board at school or if they r getting headaches from no wearing them
