My left ear has been making a popping sound every time I inhale through my nose for the last few days. Is that bad?

Continous popping sounds both ears for a few months now. No blocked or runny nose, no allergies, no wax in ears. Tried antihistamines, flomist, Iliadin, mucolytics and decongestants without relief.
