Child fever: Yes. Go to the ER immediately for an evaluation of the child's hydration/renal status. Has she been vomiting, had diarrhea? Is she drinking anything? These are the questions they will want to know. She may need some IV fluids.

Probably: If it has really been a full 12 hours without any urine output, it is time to go to the ER. If has had a little urine and is still drinking well , then could wait to see own doctor in morning. Did you call your doctor today and let them know child was not getting better. It's almost always better to see your usual doctor than going to ER, but if not getting there for some reason ER is better than
