IT IS 2014: I hope you are pregnant. .But, no physician would EVER speculate about diagnosing pregnancy. You have a late period. You have symptoms of infection, not pregnancy. But these symptoms do not in any way rule out pregnancy. Go get a pregnancy test. That is how pregnancy is diagnosed in the modern era. You may also want to talk to the doctor bout your signs of infection: the cramping and back aches.

You will need to: take a pregnancy test to know. You can take one now. If it is negative and still no period - you can repeat in a week. Take care.
