Arrhythmia: What you describe sounds like irregular heart beat. It is important to have it investigated and than can only be done by an-person examination by your doctor.

Heart pounding: This is definitely abnormal. Are you taking any drugs or stimulants. You should call your doctor for a check up as soon as possible or go to the ER.
