Pain meds/kidney: Only use pain medications that are OK with your kidney doctors for what ever your illness is.

Take tylenol (acetaminophen).: Other common over counter pain meds are usually NSAIDs --like aleve (naproxen) or motrin. These medications can cause renal blood flow problems and decrease renal functions, especially if you are dehydrated.
