Canker sores: Saline rinses, ibuprofen for pain, topical anesthetic like anbesol or orajel helps.

Tx Gum sore.: See your DDS/DMD. They will rule out many things. This can be as simple as a broken non-displaced filling, or a sharp tooth. It could be a piece of food wedge in between the teeth. Once DX'd then the Dr. can attend to it.
