Is taking antihistamine everyday bad for you in the long term? will my immune system get impaired?

No and no.: There are no known longterm sequellae from antihistamines. I would stick with the long-acting, non-sedating ones, such as Allegra and Claritin, (loratadine) since the short-acting ones can make you drowsy. Antihistamines do not affect the immune system in any measurable way.
