Teething: May cause irritability and fevers, which in turn, if not treated may cause lethargy. The hoarse voice should be looked at to be sure and confirm there is not a concomitant infection. Good luck.

Sounds likely: If the teething is extremely painful and is making it hard to sleep well - that explains being tired. Even less estreme will demand energy. Also, if there's a lot of crying or screaming - that explains the strained voice. Ask the pediatrician for advice on best management of symptoms during this stage. Best wishes!

Teething or sick?: Teething causes tiredness but maybe only from not sleeping or battling the pain of a tooth busting through.Teething does cause runny nose, slight cough, loose stools, some drooling, crankiness, etc. Hoarse voice might be a sore throat or laryngitis due to a viral infection. ESP if eating poorly or has a fever or other signs of being sick. Check with your doc on Monday just to be sure.

Teething: Physical and emotional stress can make adults and children tired. Crying and insufficient hydration can give one a sore throat/hoarse voice. Having said that, one must rule out other medical causes of a hoarse voice, especially in young children. Have your child looked out by a Pedodontist for tooth development\other issues and a Pediatrician for an oral\medical exam.
