Thyroid FNA: Hi. A follicular neoplasm of undetermined significance means the cytology doesn't meet criteria for cancer or benign, thus the "undetermined significance". Historically, most of these turn out to be benign, but a significant subset are cancer. It appears they did not do gene testing.
