I had mild cramping on the right side of my uterus and today i took a pregnancy test but 8 minutes later a faint line appeared. could i be pregnant?

Possibly: Possible. I would wait a week and recheck it. It should be a stronger positive if you are pregnant

Possible: Any time you have unprotected intercourse, pregancy is possible. Each pregancy test has its own specific instructions for use. Without knowing what test was taken, it is difficult to comment on the results decribed. If someone has missed a period, it is reasonable to go to the doctor for a test there.
