Allergenic: Tmp (bactrim, septra, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) etc.) has a sulfonamide as one component. These are among the most allergy creating drugs known and anyone who is developing an allergy to other classes of drugs, like cephalosporins, has a higher risk of also being allergic to sulfa. Be careful !
