I missed a month of birth control. started up again, but started my period 1 week early now i've had my period for 2 weeks. is this normal?

Abnl period: It can happen. Best to talk to your gyn. Usually est to restart pill first day of next period. If bleeding continues ON the pill and NOT when it should in your pill pack, you need to see your gyn. Hope this helps. Best of luck

Can be.: May take 1-2 cycles on birth control to get regular again. Call your primary or GYN doctor today for his/her advice. If you get dizzy, lightheaded or other symptoms go to ER. Having your period for 2 solid weeks can cause anemia and iron deficiency. Get seen by doc next week at the latest if symptoms persist.
