A member asked:

What does it mean when it hurts to look to the side with your eyes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Flu, optic neuritis : The two most common causes of pain with eye movement are optic neuritis and the flu. Optic neuritis is usually unilateral and accompanied with visual loss and you should have other common flu symptoms if you have the flu. If it doesn't resolve see an ophthalmologist for a definitive diagnosis.
