9 weeks pregnant, is it safe to lay flat on my stomach?

One inch: At 9 weeks the baby is about an inch. The uterus is still small and located below the pubic bone. There are not restrictions regarding how you lay down at this point. It is very small. Later on when the uterus is large it will not be comfortable for you to lay on your stomach.
