I am skeptical: that your LH surges are actually 8 days long if your cycles are regular. The OPK you are using is either misleading you or may be used incorrectly. The OPK is not intended to be used each day once you detect a surge, so I'd suggest strongly that after you get a + you stop using the OPK, it is not necessary or useful to keep testing.
