UTI: Recurrent UTis are more common in women due to the anatomically smaller urethra. Recurrent UTIs in males should be evaluated by a urologist. All should remember to stay hydrated with 6-8 glasses of water daily, empty one's bladder after sex, and avoid contamination of the stool in the vagina or penis opening.
