Possible: only way to know for sure is to check a pregnancy test. It could also be a cycle where you didn't ovulate too. Again, start by checking a pregnancy test.

The 4th day of ...: Your cycle is not typically a fertile time but not all bleeding is a "period". Bleeding does not prevent pregnancy either. It just so happens that with regular 28 day ovulatory cycles the bleeding starts a couple of weeks before the fertile time of the month. Birth control that is correctly used is better than a calendar.

When in doubt: just check pregnancy test. And if you are still not bleeding normally and first pregnancy test was negative, check it again in 1 week. The time period that you mentioned is certainly suspiciously close to ovulation, and having unprotected intercourse during that time is just waiting to conceive. But it is not likely that you are pregnant given a normal period initiation.

Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.

Irregular bleeding: Irregular bleeding affects about 1/3 of women and is a common reason for visit to the gynecologist. Usually the irregular bleeding will correct itself. Hormones, stress, nutrition, and medications may be reasons for changes. If a change in your period persists, you should see your gynecologist.

Possible: Pregnancy is always possible with abnormal periods. Its worth the price of a pregnancy test.
