Not common cause: Lichen planus can be caused by sulfonamides, tetracycline, NSAIDs, hydrochlorthiazide, and allergy to mercury & other metal containing amalgams as in dental fillings. It is of interest that Hepatitis C infection is found with greater frequency in lichen planus patients. Have your dermatologist keep a careful eye on your lesion.

Lichen Planus: The cause is unknown, but it is thought to be the result of an autoimmune process with an unknown initial trigger. Doubt the Fellatio has anything to do with it.

Not contagious: If you have lichen planus , there can be numerous skin lesion that occur. Trama may agitate the condition. Check out Baylor University for information concerning this disease. They have a special clinic and support site for information, treatment, and consul.
