A member asked:

After a c-section how long does it take your baby home?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: C-section is a major surgery. Hospital discharge depends on the health of mom and baby independently. Typically if all is well with mom and baby, discharge is usually on hospital day #2 or #3. In some cases, mom may be discharged before the baby but the reverse is rare. Good health.
