Too much to say: Not enough room to answer this but some thoughts. 1) choose a trustworthy surgeon for these answers. 2) since you say "failed" i assume heartburn persists. Do you still have your gallbladder? Few are aware of this, but undetected gallbladder problems often contribute to or cause persistent heartburn or GERD. Even if no gallstones GB can still be a problem. If U/S of GB no stones, get HIDA with CCK

5 days after lapro Nissen fundoplication and when I swallow I still hear fluid reflux into my mouth. Did my surgery fail. Will this get better as I heal? I was told surgery was a success
Had Laproscopic Nissen Fundoplication done yesterday. Home recovering. Will reflux still exist, or feeling of liquids coming up in the throat still as surgery is recent, and can I expect it to settle down as I heal thus making the surgery a success?
