Go to the hospital: Any child with a fever who is under one year of age needs emergent medical attention. If in doubt please page your baby's doctor on call. Today!

Fever is a response: Fever is a normal response of the immune system to infection. The diarrhea give you a clue as to the location of this infection in most cases. I recommend taking your baby to see the pediatrician. Diarrhea with fever increases risk of dehydration.
