How can i get my doctor to prescribe me opiate pain relievers for pain relief? i really need them for lyme disease joint pain. i'm only 17 years old.

Opioids: There is nothing that you can do. What and how something is prescribed is based on many factors - your history, the examination, your age, your family structure/support, your level of function, the doctors comfort level etc....I would suggest you talk to the doctor

Discuss with your: doctor. Most people with Lyme disease do nor require narcotic pain medications and narcotics are addicting especially at your young age. Treating the Lyme disease itself is the answer.
