I found small puss filled bumps on my clitoral hood; the urgent care dr. said it was hsv-2 after swab. could having hidradenitis affect the test?

No: You could have perineal or perianal hidradenitis, and HSV-2 coexisting at the same time. But there should be no confusion since in hidradenitis the pathogens found in the pus culture are bacterial in nature, and HSV-2 is a virus.

No: See a dermatologist or GYN. Culturing hsv virus means you carry the virus. However this particular lesion may be hidradenitis with incidental hsv. Herpes virus is often cultured from skin when there is no herpes lesion or symptom.
