Tachycardia: appropriate sinus tachycardia is a normal healthy response of heart rhythm to things like exercise, excitement, fever etc. where normal rhythm increases. Inappropriate sinus tachycardia refers to abnormal speeding of heart rhythm in an exaggerated way, at an unexpected degree.
