A member asked:

Should i be concerned if i have dark red, clumpy bleeding between ovulation and my menstrual cycle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abnormal uterine ble: The first day in the menstrual cycle is marked by shedding of the uterine linning, a.k.a. menses. Approximately 14 days later give or take, the body would be ovulating. This would give you menstrual flow once every 28-32 days. Any bleeding between the menses is irregular. You should see your PCP or gym for blood work and pelvic ultrasound and pap if you have not had one. This is irregular bleeding
