Clogged?: What do you mean by "clogged?" Do you mean infected? Or did it stop working due to malfunction? CSF fluid traveling through a shunt is supposed to be sterile and free from particulate matter that could "clog" it up. At any rate, if it was an infection then, it is possible that another infection could occur. Depends on why it got infected in first place. Check with the surgeon for further detail.

Hydrocephalus : Ventriculoperitoneal shunts can become clogged from debris which is usually residual blood or brain tissue after a hemorrhage or previous brain surgery. Also an infection of the shunt itself will cause the shunt to become blocked. As the brain tissue becomes less inflamed, there is less risk for clogging in the future. Sometimes the fat in the belly will cause a blockage of the tubing too.
