When they protrude to a significant length(elephant ears), or one side exceeds the other in length,surgical reduction can be preformed by someone with experience in the procedure.If this is producing pain or dictating your clothing choices, set up a visit.

Discuss w gyn/parent: There may be underlying hormonal,conditions that should be evaluated and this is best performed by your gynecologist or endocrinologist. In all likelihood, it is a variant of a normal condition. Discuss with your gynecologist and your parents or guardian. Determine causes and treatments such as avoidance of precipitating behaviors.
