It is supposed ...: To acidify the urine, which theoretically kills or prevents bacterial growth in the urine. Most studies show this really doesn't work. The urine is not acidic enough to do any good. You are better off drinking plenty of water, which helps flush bacteria from the bladder. If symptoms persist more than 2-3 days, see your doctor to get checked. Good luck!

Here are some ...: Drinking cranberry juice has been heavily touted either in health/nutrition store or online for its potential effect of preventing UTI, benefiting aging, heart, etc.; clinically, such effects are still mixed in studies. So, for daily use, I have taken moderate stance for its consumption since it comes with nice taste & supplies a vast array of nutritions like antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, etc.

It may make the : urine more acidic and harder for bacteria to grow but will not cure an infection.It has not been proven to help. Fluids may help flush out the bladder.
