Heel spur: Exostosis or spur is projection of bone coming off inferior part calcaneous that can occur at insertion of tendon.Caused by strains on foot muscles and ligaments and increasing age.Although heel spurs are often painless, they can cause heel pain. They are frequently associated with plantar fasciitis.Treatments include exercise, custom-made orthotics, anti-inflamm agents etc
