See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your doctor is likely correct in that an isolated lymphocyte count of 49% is not to be concerned about. Do pay attention to your doctor's advice for follow up care.
