Side effects of contraceptive injection when taking warfarin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Ted King answered

Don't do it: If you are on warfarin for a blood clot, using a hormal contraceptive is contraindicated. If you have had a blood clot, you need to talk to you doctor about a different form of birth control.
