Usually mild: Tramadol may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: dizziness, weakness, sleepiness, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, headache, nervousness, agitation, uncontrollable shaking of a part of the body, muscle tightness, changes in mood, drowsiness, heartburn or indigestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation & itching.
