Is myocarditis rare and what are the risk factors ?

Not rare but ...: its a general term for inflamation of the heart muscle. Can occur with many conditions. the most common is viral. The lupus pts and other autoimmune disease pts are sussceptable. Pts with cancer, HIV,renal failure are also at risk.
