Very unlikely: Very unlikely for oral sex, I would think. but if you think HIV might be involved, get tested. Better safe than sorry. Were you checked for HSV (herpes?)

No.: The most frequent cause of epididymitis in your age would be gonorrhea or chlamydia. You may need antibiotics for other bacteria causing the issue. If you think you are at risk for HIV get tested but HIV itself does not cause epididymitis. Did you have a scrotal ultrasound by chance to confirm the diagnosis?
