YES: While Depo has extended effectiveness, once you pass the 3 month time since your injection, your risk of pregnancy dramatically increases. Since you are off the BCP, then I would certainly recommend a home Preg test at the vary least. It is also true that Depo can cause prolonged absence of your cycle, but that does not guarantee birth control.
