Can a pituitary tumor cause thyroiditis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Hi. No, a pituitary tumor can't cause thyroiditis. Pituitary tumors can cause hypothyroidism & hyperthyroidism (by different mechanisms), but can't cause thyroiditis. If both are coexistent, they're independent. All the best!
