What happends if you leave phimosis untreated ?

Phimosis effects: Depends upon severity. Difficult to retract foreskin means hygiene problems & difficulty in remocing smegma. Can develop balanitis, inflammation of penile head and/or foreskin. Paraphimosis, when foreskin retracts and can not be pulled back over penile head, is an emergency & requires immediate correction or can result in necrosis/death of foreskin. Needs steroid cream or circumcision.
