Patience : inflamed lymph nodes under the chin or jaw can be related to recent sickness. Lymph nodes typically will stay swollen after a recent cough/cold/ear infection for several weeks. If the lymph nodes stay swollen he should see your primary care provider. Pressing on lymph nodes will not cause them to rupture.
