A member asked:

Had strep throat about a month ago and still have some hoarsness to my voice will it eventually go away?

Recheck: The strep should not really cause hoarseness or weakness of the vocal cords. If the soreness in the back of your throat is resolved then I would look for another cause of the voice issues. One of the more likely explanations may be acid reflux causing irritation of the vocal cords.
