Sounds painful: Plantar fasciitis is a very painful condition. It can be recurrent but usually episodes resolve within 9 months (regardless of what we do). Since the shots didn't help I would suggest physical therapy with possible iontophoresis. Also daily stretching exercises, especially before getting out of bed in the morning. Surgery is a last resort.
