A bit unusual...: Duloxetine (Cymbalta) is an SNRI that enhances serotonin and norepinephrine. Sertraline (Zoloft) enhances only serotonin. Duloxetine is approved for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression and several forms of pain, and it seems to help a substantial portion of patients with their pain. I am not sure why you would be on both sertraline and duloxetine, as their mechanisms are similar.
